Lisa Bennett Seim She’s beautiful, I have a cat that looks just like her. Indoor cats will hide very close to hime and when outside they will not come out of hiding unless it is dark and quiet and usually will not answer you because they are in survival mode. So when outside look very quietly in a calm voice call to her and listen for her.,She will more than likely remain quiet and is closer than you think. The only way we got our daughters cat back inside after almost three weeks was with a humane trap. We set it on the porch and picked up all outside food. She would not eat the entire time she was missing but went in the trap because we had her favorite hard food in it realizing she does not like canned food. So putting her favorite food in it close by where it can be monitored from a distance so you don’t catch other animals. She picked up all good a few days prior to make sure she was good and hungry. If you have coyotes in the area don’t put out the litter box, just the dirty laundry or owners scent is best. Usually outdoor cats will become prey to them easier than indoor only because they usually know to hide when outside because anything can be a predator. I hope you find your pretty kitty soon. Good idea to file a lost report with the microchip company too and make sure all contact info is current.
