Found/Stray Cat in Benenden, England TN17 4EN

Description

Black and white male cat. He appears to be an unneutered/intact male. This cat regularly comes to my hse for food and is now friendly enough to be petted. I have scanned him several times with a working microchip scanner. The scanner detects my own microchipped cat, but this cat shows “no tag found” each time. I do not know where this cat lives or who owns him. Nobody nearby seems to know where he is from. Please contact me if this is your cat or if you know where he belongs. Proof of ownership may be needed. If no owner comes forward, my family and I will continue looking after him, feeding him, and giving him care, love, and attention as we have already been doing. We are not moving him anywhere or keeping him locked inside. We let him come and go as he pleases. This area seems to be his territory, so it is always his choice when he comes to visit us. My family and I have started calling him Felix, but we do not know if he already has another name or an owner. We keep asking around and looking but so far can't find an owner of this cat. I have posted on nextdoor as well and no one recognizes him.

Hi, does anyone recognize this cat? It’s been visiting me regularly and seems quite nervous but very hungry and asking for food. I’m just checking if it belongs to someone nearby or if it might be lost. It’s been coming into my garden every few days and likes playing with my 3 cats. I’ve only given it food occasionally as I was worried about it being hungry. I leave water out for it to. Please let me know if this is your cat or if you have any information.
