Description

o everyone! Late in the evening on May 9, our cat ran away. We were staying at a rental in the 95691 ZIP code area in West Sacramento, California. Our cat’s name is Mufasa, he is 3 years old. He is healthy, vaccinated, and microchipped. I have already reported him as lost and updated my contact information connected to his microchip in case he is found. Please help spread the information around the neighborhood. We have already put up around 100 flyers, and some of you may have seen them. Mufasa is absolutely harmless — he never bites or scratches and would never hurt anyone. He can safely be caught. He is very shy and usually does not let strangers pick him up or come when called. However, it is very possible that he is very hungry right now, and he absolutely loves food, so he may come closer if offered food as bait. We will absolutely give a reward to whoever helps find him. Please, if you have any information at all, contact me immediately. 🙏🐈‍⬛

URGENT — Missing Microchipped Cat / Possible Lead My orange cat Mufasa went missing on May 9 around 10 PM in the neighborhood near 13th Street / West Sacramento. Since then, I have received multiple phone calls from five different local phone numbers. The callers sounded like teenagers, and they claimed that they had my cat. In one of the calls, I could hear a cat meowing in the background. Later, they sent me photos of an orange cat that I clearly recognize as my Mufasa. After sending these photos, the teenagers stopped responding to me and also stopped responding to the people who are trying to help me. They refuse to send more photos, refuse to provide an address, and refuse to help return the cat safely. I can clearly see Mufasa in these photos. He looks stressed and thinner than before, but I know my cat. He is my family member, and I recognize him. Mufasa is microchipped, neutered, vaccinated, and deeply loved by our family. He is not a stray. He has a home, and we are desperately waiting for him. If you are a parent, neighbor, or local resident and you recognize this room, this black cat, this situation, or anyone who may have recently brought home an orange cat, please contact me privately. I am not trying to hurt anyone or get anyone in trouble. I just want Mufasa returned safely. A reward is offered. No questions asked. I have call logs, screenshots, messages, phone numbers, and photos saved. I was also able to identify names connected to three of the phone numbers through payment apps. I have all of this information saved, including call logs, screenshots, messages, phone numbers, names, and photos. I am not posting private information publicly, but if Mufasa is not returned safely, this information will be provided to Animal Control and/or law enforcement. Someone may also recognize the large black cat shown in the photos. My daughter saw a very large black cat outside shortly after Mufasa went missing, and the cat ran under a car. She remembers the street where she saw him and was able to identify the area on Google Maps. It is possible that this black cat lives nearby or belongs to someone in the neighborhood. If anyone recognizes this black cat or knows who he belongs to, please message me privately. This could be an important lead in finding Mufasa. In the photo, I marked the place where we were staying with a circle on the right. On the left, there is a pin — that is the location where we saw the black cat running outside on the street. Please help us bring Mufasa home. If you know anything, please message me privately as soon as possible. Please share this post in West Sacramento / Sacramento local groups. Every share helps.f

Cook a ham or a roast and open your windows. Walk outside with the roast in a plastic bag calling pets name when you can listen and it’s quiet with no traffic, 3am. Tape posters on mailboxes, put out blankets that have your scent, open your windows. Knock on all your neighbors doors asking if you can look underneath things, could be hurt. never give up🙏

Have neighbors check garages and sheds. Have a tree out back? Check that too. Leave your garage door up a little so they can return home to a familiar place. Place a box outside with blankets or even the clothes you wore today so a cat can pick up the scent and make it home. If you are new to this area, have friends keep an eye out at your former home. And please: CHECK THE LOCAL SHELTERS DAILY I hope your kitty makes it back home safe very soon. Please make sure to get your cat chipped once they return, and PLEASE keep them indoors! PLEASE NEVER LOSE HOPE! LOOK UP! Cats are great climbers and looking for them on the ground only is limiting your search. Male wanderers tend to stay within a territory of about 150 acres, while females stay closer to home, roaming only about 40 acres. This means that your average male cat is likely to stay within 1500 feet of home, while your average female tends not to go much farther than 75 yards from your door. Be careful of the lost pet finders. Most of them are playing on your emotions and wanting cash up front.! https://www.pawboost.com/?utm_source=facebook&utm_campaign=report_pet_alert_link_lost Sacramento SPCA | (916) 383-7387 Front Street Shelter | 311 or (916) 808-7387 Bradshaw Animal Shelter | 311 or (916) 368-7387 Elk Grove Animal Services | (916) 691-2489 or (916) 714-5115

Saca su caja de arena, su cama o ropa donde suele dormir, también ropa tuya sin lavar, ponla en el patio, los gatos se guian por el olor y pueden regresar a su casa, a mi me ha dado buenos resultados.
