Today, I had my morning walk with my dog and was hoping to see this dog again, but sadly no luck. I recommend to post fliers. Some people don't have FB groups to find out about missing/lost pets. So fliers help around the Lowe's neighborhoods. I did that when my dog ran away, and a Lowe's employee called us that they got my dog. Sometimes gotta go old school. Good luck and hope y'all get your dog(s) back. I'll still keep an eye out on my morning walks, and have an extra leash with me just in case I see him again.

message to finder: please have the dog checked for a microchip, it can be done for free at any vet´s office or at the shelter but please don´t leave the dog at the shelter where there is a high risk of getting ed if not claimed within 72 hrs. however leave a report there in case somebody is looking for its dog. If someone claims to be the owner, please ask for proof of ownership as pictures and veterinarian records, some people with bad intentions will claim to be owner but can use the dog for breeding, for training fighting dogs or other cruel things. If you post the dog and if it had a collar or a special marking, please do not give these details, owner should provide that information so you know is the rightful owner. Please check with veterinarians and groomers, they may recognize the dog and may know who the owner is. Please also post in the web pages 24petconnect which connects to your local animal shelter, also post in Pawboost, nextdoor, MyLostPetAlert ,findingrover, in Craigslist in the Lost and Found section and in the Facebook pages RGV Lost and Found Pets, in Lost and Found Pets of the RGV, in RGV Reunite Lost Pets and in RGV Pet Alert Lost and Found If after about a week or more WITH several attempts to find the owner and If no one claims this baby and if you find a potential adopter, please do a home visit when you deliver them to the house of the potential adopter to check it´s a safe environment and sign an adoption contract to try to make sure the doggy will go to a loving, caring home and will not end up in wrong hands. Lots of bad people will take "free" or low fee animals for cruel things so the home visit is a very important thing to do for their protection and ask as many questions you feel will make comfortable so you know the dog will be well taken care of and loved and also ask if everyone in the family agrees with the adoption so you know the dog will be welcomed as a new member of the family. Please check well the fence so the dog won´t get lost again when left out, and when the dog is outside, please check for appropriate shelter. Please also convince people to spay/neuter, way too many homeless pets, sadly not enough homes so we all need to help control the population. Thank you for rescuing this pretty baby

Trap safely!! Contact local vets, 24 hour vet hospitals, to check for microchip.. IT'S FREE! Please make sure the ENTIRE body of the animal is scanned. Microchips can float! Contact neighborhood constable /Police / and vets to see if they know the pet or owner. If someone contacts you, have THEM tell YOU detail information to make sure pet goes to the right owner! If the pup is not chipped and owner is found..have the owner meet you at a vet location to have the pet chipped(and fixed if not already done) and then returned to them at their expense..Most counties/cities in Texas( Animal Law) is now in place..ALL pets must be chipped and registered! PLEASE be aware dogs stolen daily and used for dog fighting bait!😡 please keep this angel safe. CHECK NEIGHBORHOOD OR HOME CAMERAS IF THERE ARE ANY FOR POSSIBLE ACTIVITY! Thank you for keeping the pup safe!!🐶🐕‍🦺🙏

Janie Rodriguez, he followed my dog and I for a little bit into Weslaco Rd and stopped by the Condo/Apts. I don't live there. After that, I haven't seen him. Sorry. I was trying to get him to follow us all the way home to hold for anyone who lost him, but he got excited seeing some other dogs with their owner.

Cute . I found one myself. Don't know if she got abandoned or got lost. I now have her at home. I also posted her on Facebook. Hopefully someone will claim her
