Have neighbors check garages and sheds. Have a tree out back? Check that too. Leave your garage door up a little so they can return home to a familiar place. Place a box outside with blankets or even the clothes you wore today so a cat can pick up the scent and make it home. If you are new to this area, have friends keep an eye out at your former home. And please: CHECK THE LOCAL SHELTERS DAILY I hope your kitty makes it back home safe very soon. Please make sure to get your cat chipped once they return, and PLEASE keep them indoors! PLEASE NEVER LOSE HOPE! Male wanderers tend to stay within a territory of about 150 acres, while females stay closer to home, roaming only about 40 acres. This means that your average male cat is likely to stay within 1500 feet of home, while your average female tends not to go much farther than 75 yards from your door. Be careful of the lost pet finders. Most of them are playing on your emotions and wanting cash up front.! Paula Boyd Rubalcava o, I am the owner of the missing cat. Thank you for your help. Is there any way that I can contact the person who has found her? I am unable to find the post on either of the community pages.

Yes, I just seen a post last night 6/25 with an image of this Kitty looking for their owners. They are feeding and giving water. Please look for the community social media pages as it was either on Rocklins or Loomis’. There was discussion to help catch the cat safely to see if chipped and was determined it’s an indoor cat. Maybe post a large sign near the church near your home because that’s where he’s hanging out at. Also, they mentioned he hides during the day and is seen out in the evening so if a post like this comes up to let them (owner) know you’ll see him then. Beautiful baby and good luck!!!

Put up flyers. Indoor cats do not go far. Go out with a flashlight at night and during the day and shine it or look under dark hiding places like bushes, plants, and under cars, fences and things. Ask neighbors to check their sheds and garages. Call and walk the neighborhood and rattle his kibble bag. Call at the doors, and keep checking often all hours to see if he returns. Put out something unwashed with your scent on it. Check Pawboost, lost and found pets, the nearest shelter. Get her chipped and build her a catio so she can enjoy fresh air and enrichment.
