This is my cat! She got out. I have been in Canada for five days. Got home back in the country late last night. Animal control said that since I hadn’t contacted them in five days, she is no longer my pet and they gave her to a rescue organization that they will not tell me where it is located. I am beyond words. My heart is broken. I have proof over the last 16.5 years with pictures that she is our family’s cat. She is my shadow. She is all over my Instagram and Facebook posts since 2013. She even has her own Instagram page. They won’t even let me see her or tell me where she is located. I have spoken to OC animal control, the OC shelter and Customer Service at the Custodian of records. Can anyone help me? Please!
