Does anyone recognize this lost dog? Australian Shepherd. Running around Wakefield ests (neighborhood), Wake Forest/North Raleigh. Very skittish and it runs as soon as we try to get near. We are giving it food and water and it has found a very shady spot. I can't see if it has a collar but I don't think so. We have knocked on doors and posted in the local neighborhood Facebook group to no avail. Except we are now many people looking out for it and trying to find owners. We will also try to trap it. Proof of ownership required before any more specific location information is given out. The dog is still around our neighborhood today 08/18/26. We are slowly gaining its trust by feeding it. Cross posting in other lost pet groups. Please help spread the word.
