So far no luck. We have reached out to the Mississauga animal services as one cat did seem to fit almost to the dot but was microchipped and had a name! We are posting posters up in the local area and will continue to search, will try and look more around the dusk and dawn times as I know cats tend to move more at their natural hunting hours. Left some kibble as well as tuna out because it’s his favourite. Been shaking the temptations treats as also his favourite when walking and calling his name. Will try to call again tonight in the regular tone as mentioned in a comment and will hang around outside, also placed a blanket outside and may even put his cat tower outside because the chances of rain called off and he basically lives in his cat tree/house when inside so that’s the most of his scent. Thank you all and continue to share this post - keep me and my family updated and again thank you for all the support and positive comments and energy. To hopefully finding Shadow soon!

if you see him do not approach him . Sit in the ground and have him come to you , DONT go up to him . If he won’t come leave food and walk away and leave doors open Do you have any wifi cams ? Or any cams around the house , he’s probably trying to come home at night Do you have any other pets ? Did he run out the front door or back door ?

Once home, please do not let him out to wander. It’s our responsibility to keep our pets safe and it is also against the law.

Please place his bedding 🛏outside, along with the owner's unwashed clothing👚👖 front and back door 🚪with a can of tuna 🐟 on each entrance, you can leave your garage door a bit open as well. In case it comes in that way. And leaving food there as well. Also vacuumed home 🧹dirt in a stocking hanging it in front and back of home🏡 enterence . You can also add some catnip 🌱in a stocking hanging by your entrances. Show your neighbo🖼picture of the cat. Ten houses to the left ten house to the right front and back if they spot him to give you a call☎️ immediately. Go early in the ☀️morning and shake treats calling the cats name when things are quiet.. Tell neighbors to check their sheds and garage.Just in case it's trapped.. Also, you can install a camera 📹to monitor and see if the cat is around your house . Trully 🍀hoping you find your kitty safe and soon .🙏 ❤️🏡🐾

A good list of things to do is on the Toronto Humane Society website, as well as (Click on the link www.catsinthebag.org itself.) Get signs up (not everyone uses fb, and the more eyes looking the better) and file a lost report with Animal Services and local shelters (and keep checking their listings). Make sure your microchip is registered, and your info is up to date with the company too. And here is some helpful info: https://www.missinganimalresponse.com/lost-cat-behavior/ Post on Neighbourhood/community groups, and be sure to also do a post on the fb group ‘Toronto Lost and Found Cats’
