My cat Nyx didn’t come home last night. Love on Rocky Knoll between Shannon Calley and Sugar Springs. She is friendly but more than likely won’t let you pick her up. She is smaller than average size.

Make color fliers ASAP and get out everywhere including vet clinics Post on Pawboost & Ring App Ask neighbors to check their outside cameras, garages & bushes Put litter box in garage and leave the door cracked so cat can get in at night or out anything with cat scent on it on porch. Go out at dusk with open can of tuna and sit and call for him. Is cat familiar with area? Pray

When she does come home please keep her inside as there are too many dangers outside for a cat.

Check on 24petconnect.com, they are linked to all the local shelters and you can search by your zip code. Call and physically go into the shelters to look for her.

Also try playing cats or kittens meowing on YouTube outside in your yard or in a window of your home. Check with neighbors as she may have been accidentally locked in a garage or shed.

Try putting something outside with your scent on it, worn socks seem to work best. If you have a garage put a bowl of food in there and leave the door open enough for her to get in. Although I am sure you have already done this, start searching immediately and keep looking. Look in bushes, under cars, and anywhere she can crawl into, they tend to stay close to home. Take a can of food with you and call her name or use whatever sound gets her to come to you. Search early morning, evenings with a flashlight, and late at night. Praying for her safe return home 🙏

DISREGARD Comments about not using litterbox this works! Put litterbox outside so he or she can smell their own scent and find their way home easier. Don’t leave food outside because that could attract predators or stray cats and scare he or she off. Go for a walk around the area and call from the car then sit outside your house and call for him or her and also just talk in your normal voice and have a conversation with someone. They eventually hear you and smell their scent and find their way. Repeat this every day until she or he comes home. Also check neighbor garages.
