Post on NextDoor and neighbors.ring, hang bilingual flyers, and put out articles of unwashed clothing and the pet’s bed. Ask neighbors to check their Ring cameras, garages, and sheds. Check shelters in person. If not already done, have your pet microchipped as soon as you’re reunited. If already chipped, call the microchip company to report pet lost and make sure your contact information is correct. Report lost on 24petconnect. If someone posts “We found” and asks for your phone number, don’t respond; it’s a scam. Same if they want to send you a code. Beware of sites people recommend that find lost pets; many are scammers

Try searching at midnight when it’s all quiet outside. Check all bushes. Look up under cars and in the wheel wells. Take a flashlight. It makes their eyes shine. And take treats or a smelly can of Tuna. Also, put out a well worn piece of clothing for the scent.
