Brian Janson if you see him again, maybe take a laser light and a fishing pole toy to entice him back towards you. Stay low and calm. We did that before with a cat that had been out a few weeks. She relaxed enough to forget she'd been out for a while. You may need a drop trap vs a regular box trap if he refuses to go in.
