I lost my husband 3 months ago. Though he was a family pet, my husband was "Daddy." I can't bear the thoughts of losing Buckwheat too! Please help!!! Please no prank calls!

If he's an indoor kitty only then he's probably not too far from home and might even be somewhere around the outside of your home scared and hiding, as indoor cats that accidentally get outside don't usually like to roam. Here's a few suggestions on what you can do to hopefully find him soon, #1 being to keep searching for him every day and every night! Please be sure to check all around property - under house, around yards, in garages, etc. Also check in same places with all neighbors or any near by buildings. Shake his food and call his name to try to lure him out from wherever he's hiding. You can also put out an unwashed item of clothing so he can sense his way back home. I will also recommend to go outside at night and shine your flashlight around everywhere (yard, under car and under the hood because they sometimes hide around the engine area which is very unsafe!!, check bushes, trees, etc.) because his eyes will reflect from the light. I hope he returns home very safe and soon! Keep searching for him, don't give up! ♥️
