Description

Orange and male tabby cat with a white patch over half his nose and mouth that stretches up between his eyes. He has a gray flea collar on but no tags. He is skittish and usually doesn’t approach unfamiliar people.

Message from Owner

Please help us find our sweet orange and white tabby cat, Goose! He got out yesterday evening (5/15) and hasn’t returned home yet. He is typically an indoor cat but sneaks out from time to time. When he does, he stays nearby and usually comes running when we call his name or is waiting at our back porch. Please check your property if you live near Erwin and Randolph Roads. He may have wandered into the Winstead or Lochnora neighborhoods. He is well loved and we miss him so much!

Search at night with a flashlight (eyes will glow) up in trees and inside and under things on your property and up to three or four houses away. Cats normally stay pretty close to home. You can put something with the smell of the cat, or the scent of home, out on the porch. Put up missing cat posters, check with your neighbors, post on all local social media groups, and check with animal control every week. Leave your garage door up enough to allow the cat entry. You can also try searching early morning, before dawn, calling his/her name and carrying and open can of tuna or cat food. Hunger sometimes lures them out of hiding. Don't forget to check places like crawl spaces, garages, and sheds.
