Advice from our volunteer rescue team: Start by putting out dog's blanket, what worn clothing you have on now, and some smelly food like grilled meats, canned dog food, hot dogs in open crockpot with water on low, Vienna sausages, pepperoni, etc, all to bring dog back home with scents. Do this all in front of a camera if you have one so you know when dog returns. If it is safe to leave your door cracked for dog to find way back in without risk of any other animals or kids getting out, please do that. Call local police and animal control to report missing in case dog ends up there. Ask neighbors to watch any security or trail cameras they may have. Critical. If dog isn't home soon, we recommend hanging flyers. I can have a simple eye-catching one made for you to get copied and hung around at all intersections near where dog went missing if you like. Just lmk. Praying for a quick & safe return!
