Cats do not roam like dogs do. They usually stay in a 5 to 7 house radius. Shes scared and they go into a protective mode. Which is why they stay where they are until they can be lured out. Place her litterbox and some smelly wet food such as tuna fish outside. If you have a garage leave door cracked and place food and water inside. Late at night when it is dark and quiet walk and call her. Shake a bag of treats or dry food. You can also try a toy or noise or smell she likes. Use your flashlight to look up trees in storm drains or any place she can hide. Check with your neighbors and ask them to check their garages and sheds etc. If they will allow you to search their yards that's great. Fliers are crucial. Make them if she shows up before then great. But the sooner you act the better. File a missing report with your shelter. Then check back every other day always in person .Never call!!! You can't rely on them to get correct answer they are to busy! Next I tell every one to check any sightings of a injured or deceased cat that is close to the description.God forbid but Personally I would rather know then wonder. I hope your baby is home soon! But one little stinker last week showed up after 16 days. So dont give up!!
