Jessica Ramos Thank you for getting the cat inside. She may be lost or abandoned, so please check for a microchip; also see if any flyers are posted nearby, and you can also look through listings on Pawboost and Lostmykitty to try to find the cat's guardian. If you can't, please email reputable rescue groups, from Mayor's Alliance and Chewy's lists of rescues, by copy and pasting 75-100+ email addresses into BCC line. At least one of the rescues will take in the cat, if you do it this way. That is my experience for 30 years; it works, and is much safer than trying to find a home for her on your own. There are people looking for bait for dog-fighting, and other sadistic things, and can fool the average person. If someone claims the cat, please be sure to get legitimate proof of ownership.

o, im the one who found the cat. I have the cat in a crate. Found out it was a girl we checked. Cat is very friendly and jumped right into the crate. We tired to clean her up a bit but hissed at us once we tired to clean the back paws.
