Please ask for proof of ownership from anyone claiming to be the owner. Be very careful in who you give this dog to. Many bad people out there pose as good people only to turn around and use these lost and found dogs as dog fighting bait, snake food, and laboratory testing. FYI It is against the law to give away property such as a dog that is not yours. Please report to the shelter as a found dog and go through their due process. You will have to wait 3 days if it’s not chipped and 5 days if it’s chipped. Post in as many places as you can, including Petcolove.org and PawBoost.com.
