Put his bedding and dirty clothes outside and dirtier the better.Even hang it out side they can smell it for miles.put your dirty coat outside and they stay close to your house because they are scared to be outside and hiding in the shrubs and hedges Look for him in the evening softly calling his name with a flash light and don't give up this is how we got our cat back after 3weeks with the help of our vet.WARNING IF YOU LIVE OUT OF THE ENTER CITY YOU HAVE TO WATCH THE LITTER BOX 24 7 FOR OTHER ANIMALS AND PREDATORS ALL THE TIME please Put his toys and bedding and cat tree on the porch and water and food and your dirty coat outside and check all the shelters close to you in person every few days Ask your neighbor if you can ck their garage and sheds and gutters and on the roofs.

Leave some of your worn clothing and used pillowcase outside by your door. The familiar scent may help guide kitty home. No litterbox or items w/cat's scent outside. It attracts predators.

Alert microchip company and your vet asap. Make sure contact info is updated. Put some clothing or blanket with YOUR scent on them outside so she can hopefully pick up scent and follow back. Calling his name and checking periodically during the night and the early morning hours is BEST. It may have to be done more than once and for more than one night. It usually works. Post on pawboost(it's free just ignore payment and upgrades; make/print free flyers and put them up everywhere). Post on nextdoor and Ring. Knock on neighbors doors and give them flyers. Check area shelters IN PERSON and OFTEN giving them flyers, too.
