Gunner Scout is Missing in Point, TX

Another day past, and Gunner is still not . We got a call that someone saw him today in Quinlan near “On the Rise Barbershop” but Don went and searched for almost two hours and no signs of Gunner. We got another call that someone saw a deceased dog on 276 and we went, and it wasn’t Gunner — it was a coyote. However, you wouldn’t have known unless you stopped and looked so I do appreciate the call and tip. We want Gunner , but would appreciate closure too if we were to recover him. I was up until 4am with people prank calling me, leaving me voicemails of them barking, calling and texting me telling me they saw Gunner but want money, another says their neighbor has the dog but they want the reward money first — scam after scam. It’s so cruel to play with our emotions right now. Gunner needs Ily and Ily needs Gunner. Our family needs Gunner. Whiskey doesn’t want to eat, he searches the hse constantly for his best friend, and whimpers because he misses him. It’s so sad.  Whiskey has never known a life without Gunner. We got a tip from a few people that believe Gunner was stolen. It makes me sick to think about. I don’t want to think that someone would do that, but Gunner is a beautiful (I mean beautiful dog), intact, great with all animals, kids, adults. Loves everything. Always happy. If you have him, please give him back. No questions asked. We have put out dirty clothes. His pillow at the gate. A duvet on the gate — then the wind broke our gate - so the duvet is on the gate on the ground. His blanket on the porch. Liquid smoke to lure him . Food in various places. His bed on the back porch. Whiskey played in the pond and I dried him off with a towel… we have that out. I’ve walked whiskey and let him pee everywhere hoping Gunner smells it. We’ve put out his favorite toys, dog bowl, treats, leash… everything we can to try to help lead him back. We’ve done the drone thing. We’ve called shelters, rescues, vets. We’ve made reports with police, game wardens, and anyone else we could think of. We’ll be putting flyers out tomorrow. Spring break ends tomorrow so as you take your kids to school, as you drive into work, as you run errands, PLEASE keep an eye out for him and call me if you see him. I will accept all tips, even if they don’t lead to Gunner, if they’re done with good and pure intentions. I dug through a few more photos and decided to share some that I haven’t shared before. I also urge you to go watch this video (link below) and see the early life of the little girl Gunner belongs to. At the time of the video, Ily had only had TWO of her FOUR brain surgeries.
