Kaylie, there is a Frogtown Stray Cat Project on a Facebook Page and sometimes they have an available foster that will take the kitty until he gets adopted. Try contacting them and see if they can help. The person that founded that rescue is named Angie and she’s wonderful in helping with something like this. Please keep us posted and good luck. I messaged Angie, but you try too.

Please put signs up not everyone is on fb or apps and if tray please call or bring to a no shelter or find some can adopt, thank you for helping and this poor baby 🙏💔🥲

Kaylie Drake lots of microchips are registered with the company having *privacy settings * with owner's contact info, so only the chip company contacts the owner. was the owner not reachable by the registry?

Lizzie Basarathat's a great idea! I contacted the local humane society to see if they'd be able to help since she's chipped, but the only option they gave me was to surrender her (for a fee, which I can't currently afford :( )

Roce Montpetit I was able to provide my own contact info when I reported her found, but no option to contact her owners directly :( Rescues or animal control are my next step, but I'm giving it one more shot to try to find her home first.
