Petite 6 year old Australian Cattle Dog mix, black and white spotted with patches of black.

Message from Owner

Hermione ran off to find her person, Danny, my son. He is homeless down in Pomona trying to get his car registration updated and his car out of impound (his phone with it). She was recovered in early June when he was taken to hosp but this time she was waiting for him to return - had left her with new trusted friends but she got away from him. I’m coming to Pomona today to find her and bring her back home up north. She is a beloved friend and we think someone has her. Please help. This is too upsetting. I want to take her home where she will be safe.

Check websites of your local / county animal shelters for their recent acquired cats. They often have a section you can view their photos and details. It may be better to go there in person as well. I hope she is found🙏🏻

Check the surrounding shelters every day, not just the one in your city. Someone may have picked the dog up and not live near you, then dropped the dog at a shelter near them. It’s easy to do, go on their websites and scan the pictures. Also, go in person sometimes they hold dogs in the back that are not in the pictures. And also put posters up, because not everyone is on social media.

General information: Set up a scent station. Get a scent that the dog is familiar with out in front of the house. (EX. Worn clothing / shoes from family member dog lives with). Hang it out high so that the smell can travel and guide the dog back home. Keep an access point open in case the dog returns. Please post signs with the dogs' picture and your contact information on the sign. Post these signs all over as if someone spots your dog the person can contact you and provide a location of where the dog is. (Not everyone is on Social Media) Ask your neighbors to check their doorbell or house cameras (if applicable), sheds and garage. Call or go to the Animal Shelter in your area and tell them that your dog is missing and to see if it has been picked up.
