REUNITED UPDATE: Georgie has been reunited with his family!! 🩵🙏🏽🐾🪄✨🐾🩵 Georgie was the most perfect little respectable man since the moment I picked him up off the street. I took him straight to the animal shelter and the error in scanning incorrectly is probably the reason why the family who found him before me, -get this-, had him for two years. Fast forward, I took Georgie to my personal vet and they double checked the scan and found a chip! Chipped:12/31/2012 I got a call back from his owners who have been looking for him for TWO YEARS! The original owners who gifted Georgie’s as a pup to their granddaughter at age 3 and who is now 17! 😭 We reunited through so many tears of joy and love that Georgie brought. Even in my short four days of caring for Georgie, we fell in love. Georgie would be at my heel, the door, at my side every second. Even my little guy Too Short accepted his presence and tenderness 🐾 . We are going to sleep tonight with happy yet heavy hearts for both Georgie and his family being back together again after two years of pain and disconnection. We will miss you Georgie Porgie pumpkin pie, who kissed the girls and made them cry😭 🩵🙏🏽🐾

UPDATE: Turns out! This guy is chipped after all, the first vet missed 😣 Regardless, we are still actively looking for ✨George’s✨ owner. The facility has reached out to the contact info on his profile and we are hoping and waiting. 🙏🏽🐾 George is believed to be 13-14yrs old🩵
