shared and hoping and per advice from a trapper to be done at your own discretion (as not everyone agrees with this) put out the uncleaned litter box outside (THIS SHOULD BE A LAST RESORT as this can draw in strays) along with a piece of your clothing they say it helps them find their home and put up many flyers and check under stoops and bushes and garages and if possible and at night when it is quiet constantly call her/his name - this is how I found my cat under a car - hopefully some of this helps

Some tips still apply They usually don’t venture far. It’s probably scared & hiding near by in bushes or an open garage. Most kitties will stay put in their safe hiding spot. ( if they’re not fixed they can wonder further, depends on circumstances) Ask neighbors to check their sheds, decks, garages. They usually venture out at night after 24-48hrs when they start getting hungry. The “witching” hour when they come out is 3am. If you see your pet, don’t try to grab it, it’s still on survival mode and will run. Just sit down maybe with some treats and let your pet come to you. (Remember, never put the litterbox outside. Other cats will mark it & scare your cat away. Just in case, also set some humane traps near by, hide them in the bushes where your pet might hide. Good luck & don’t lose hope. Pray to St Anthony, he hasn’t let me down. 🙏🏻🐾

Cats tend to hide close by so keep checking around where you live. Check animal care centers on 110th between 1st and 2nd in Harlem. Check all their locations and make a lost pets report with them, check daily. You can check online if you can’t get there. Harlem location is the main one. Ask neighbors to check property he may have gone in somewhere and got locked in accidentally. Check at dawn and dusk, they tend to hide and come out at those times. Ask around for anyone who feeds strays he may show up looking for food because she will get hungry. Hang flyers. Post on pawboost.com and Check found section of pawboost.com Search social media for local rescues. Not all have facilities and are online Call local vets, shelters, precincts., In case someone finds him and brings him in. Hang flyers. Check Craigslist and other sites that may sell pets Good luck.
