I'm Marmees owner. She is microchipped so if you do spot her and pick her up please take her to any local vet or rescue centre where they can scan her and contact us directly. We have informed all the local vets in Marple so they are aware. We think she has been displaced so could be looking for new territory so if you are in the surrounding areas (Strines, High Lane, Romiley, Bredbury etc) please also do look out for her. Thanks for everyone who has sent us leads and shared the posts so far its very much appreciated 🙏

Kevin Austin Put posters up in your area and in local businesses ,cafes, newsagents,schools,libraries, shops,train/tram/bus stops etc.Also post through letter boxes .Give leaflets with a photo of your cat and your contact details to your local postman, binmen, milkman window cleaner and parcel delivery people and ask them to keep an eye out for you. Kevin Austin 🐈‍⬛️🐾 Some tips to help your cat find their way home 🐾🐈‍⬛️ Go out looking and calling for them when it is quiet late evening or night time. Take some food or treats with you ideally hot chicken or tuna . Shaking a packet of dreamies or a box of treats is often helpful. They may be frightened, injured or trapped so can't or won't come out of hiding easily so be thorough in your search. Walk towards your home rather than away so they can follow your trail. Take a torch so their eyes can reflect off it. Take a cat carrier with you too as may help make it easier to get your cat home if they are frightened or injured . Ask neighbours and the streets around you to see if anyone knows of their whereabouts. Knock on doors and ask them to double check their gardens, sheds, car bonnets, outbuildings and under decking. Leaflet through doors and put posters up in your area. Share with as many missing cat pages as possible and use the power of social media. Leave anything with a familiar smell outside. They can smell it from up to a mile away and it can lead them home. Unwashed clothing on your washing line is good because you can swap it out every 2-3 days to refresh the scent. If chipped, contact the chip company and make sure your details are up to date. Cats can be handed into vets or the council so contact your local council and vets in and around your area too. Hope you find your cat soon.

Hang items of your unwashed clothing outside your home so your cat can pick up your scent Repeat every 2days.Call late at night and early mornings shaking the treats.Go out in your garden between 2am and 4am call listen and wait.Put posters up especially on your outdoor bin and in car window.Leaflet drop in your area and physically ask and go with neighbours to check their sheds and garages.Phone local vets.Good luck
