Kathey Norton I got her roughly around 3 months from a guy that walked into the pet store I was working at and said he found her outside. Which I’ve always thought was a lie because she a handful who pees in the house lol. I’m going to continue to look through my paperwork and see what I have. Thank you for suggesting this though!

Carly Tobin Do you think the spay paperwork took place at a shelter instead of the vet if you adopted the kitty from a shelter? Here is the Microchip company that some shelters and vets use: https://petkey.org/microchip-registration/microchip-registration-g?gad_source=1&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIipqd_JSnhQMVSSCtBh18dwSFEAAYASAAEgLUtPD_BwE and there is also PetLink: https://www.petlink.net/account/register-pet/ You might contact both companies and see if they may have registration information for your kitty.

Kathey Norton thank you! I know she’s chipped but I can’t find any of her paperwork and I called her vet and they have no record of it. She go her collar stuck in her teeth so I took it off of her a couple days before she went missing. I’m kicking myself for that even though she’s not going to allow anyone to pick her up and read it anyway. I’ve posted on Nextdoor and other groups and made flyers to put up today. I’ve been calling her and shaking food but she’s not a regular cat like all the other outside cats I’ve been attracting instead of her. She’s skittish and traumatized by this experience so she’s laying low trying not to call attention to herself, even if it’s for her rescue. I’m doing whatever I possibly can while working full time at home w/ my 2 year old. Even if I had time and extra hands to help, Meowie is Meowie and she’s going to make me work for it.

Carrie Biondo I’ve been checking at least 3 times a day since she’s been gone. I recently moved to a new apartment complex, directly next to their exit gate. The day she went missing they did construction work next to my unit and the front gate which made every tenant use the gate by us. I know her, she would have found the closest bush and stayed there until I got her but with all the commotion she could have ran anywhere. She’s an extremely fearful cat, living inside is hard for her, so I know I know she’s hiding somewhere too scared to come out even with my calls and food offerings. I put items around our unit for her to smell - her bed, toy, and some cat poop. I’m putting up flyers today and continuing my search when it’s dark and quiet. I’m hoping when she’s desperate for food she’ll show up but I have no idea where she could be and my other cat is is lonely and confused crying throughout the night. I’m not familiar with this area so every noise has me going outside to check for it. I’m worried I’ll never see her again but every thing I’ve read said to give it 7-10 days.

Immediately (NOW)walk area shake treat bag or Bang on cat food can calling for your cat multiple times during the day-and-night especially when it's quiet out. Look under all bushes and in between houses. Put flyers on your neighbors doors ask them to check garage, shed backyard. Post on nextdoor, get family & friends to search every day. Search at midnight-5am too call for ur kitten, listen for her meow
