Alex Peramas This is his dog. His late father’s dog, to be exact. I’m his girlfriend but I am letting him take accountability.

This dog is not “Reunited” The person that contacted me asked me if I wanted to keep him and I said I would rather try and find his original owner, which is his girlfriend. The guy’s name is Ben. He’s in this thread. He is not yet responded and I’m trying to find a way to reach out to his girlfriend because it seems that this dog belongs to her so the dog is not reunited.

Mistakes happen but I was sitting next to him at the bar when he repeatedly said that no one believes him when he tells them they can have the dog. Then he doubled down by saying that it’s because the dog was an . Then asked the bartender if the dog could run around, he was told no and he said “well if he gets in your way, just kick him”. So you can see why it’s hard to want to reunite him with someone who could say those things. Additionally, there are two posts about this dog, one saying he went missing the 21st. One saying yesterday. So are these two separate owners?? The dog has been without his owner since Tuesday and just now a post is being made? Did they just notice he was gone??

I hope he doesn’t get this poor dog back from what the finder wrote 🙏beyond a jerk, more like a straight out animal abuser!

Bawkey Benjamin all contact is being made through the PAWBOOST website you signed up with to find the dog. Please respond through there as it’s accredited and safer.

Bawkey Benjamin Dog theft is a huge issue all over Florida, almost as bad as dog dumping. Guard your baby well. Alex says he's reached out to you with no response.

Alex Peramas Ok. Thank you, for making the effort. The guy is responding to me right now, in this post, so there should be a way to talk to him here, or in messenger. Thank you again for making sure the baby was safe as well.

Susan Shipp thank you for the voice of reason. I am new to the area and had just got into town. There is no excuse for not having his leash on, but he has never been abused in any way by me or anyone of his loved ones. Actually he is probably starving because he expects snacks every 10 minutes.
