I am unbelievably thankful to all of you for your amazing suggestions and heartfelt wishes and prayers that helped petunia find her way home! I did everything you suggested and checked last night at 2:20am and there she was! I couldn't be more grateful to have her back. She is resting soundly and just a little thinner but nothing that can't be fixed. Thank you all so very much!

Put your clothes outside as a scent. Have neighbors check cellars sheds garages and vehicles. They get trapped. Look under porches and sheds etc. Have a Heart trap with tuna. Cover trap with blanket and watch trap. Look at night often with flashlight. Check attics drawers and in trees 🌲. Culverts. Flyers everywhere. Check town authorities and vets. Look at lost and found pet sites shelters in case brought in. Craigslist too. Get kids you know to help look. Check behind walls and insulation. Abandoned buildings. Leave the door open for cat or window.

Noelle HallerAgree to all especially leaving a door open enough for her to get in. This worked for me! Also, sprinkled flour at doorway so I could check k for her prints during night. Between 2-4am best time to call her in voice/tone you’d usually use. Not yelling. Don’t give up she is close by, just scared.
