Beware of fake profiles claiming to have found your pet. They will demand money or a 6digit code for your pet. Report their profiles. Generally they will supply no photo proof or phone number and ask you to reach them on messenger. Most of the time the profiles are new to FB, and the comment is full of grammatical errors. The scammers will use the same comment over and over and post then on multiple lost pet pawboost fliers on FB. I've caught a few claiming to have found 2 DIFFERENT cat in 2 DIFFERENT states at the SAME time. **Here is a list of the fake profile scammers I've seen so far. Once they are reported, they just open a new account, sometimes only changing the profile pictures. Leave your garage door open just enough that only he can fit through. Look under sheds and decks if you have them and get neighbors to do the same. Ask neighbors to also check in their backyard and their garage and check cameras if they have them. Go out at night and in the daytime and shake dry food in a container and call his name. If you have a camera that you can put out, definitely do that maybe in the front or backyard. Also look in bushes at night with a flashlight. Also, try putting some of your dirty laundry by the front door? I hope he is found safe soon. 🤞🙏
