American Short hair - Missing one ear.

Message from Owner

Theo is an indoor outdoor cat. He doesn’t have one ear. Left yesterday at 8am and hasn’t come back. He usually comes back quickly. He is 1.5 year old and very friendly. Vaccinated and neutered.

Put out some worn clothing on your porch. Notify all your neighbors he is missing and ask them to check under their decks, house and in their garage and any outbuildings they might have. Put up flyers with his picture and your phone number around your neighborhood. Flyers work. Lots of people have found their cats because neighbors saw their flyers. You might also want to go out and look after dark with a flashlight and call his name. They typically don’t stray too far from home.

Get flyers up asap. Post on Nextdoor. Ask neighbors to check their security cameras, garages and outbuildings. File a missing report with your local animal control shelter. If microchipped, notify your microchip company. Cats don't travel far from home, usually 4-5 houses in any direction, so definitely check within that radius. Don't give up.
