He's likely very close by still! They don't typically wander far. Especially look in the dark and quiet hours (approx. 9pm-5am) as kitties often feel safer coming out from hiding during these hours. Bring a treat bag or toy if he responds to that kind of sound. Shine a light under nearby cars, bushes, porches, decks and in storm drains. Put out some smelly food on your porch (canned wet or tuna) and monitor it closely (to keep other animals from getting to it) and see if it lures him to your porch. Keep fresh water out so he has somewhere to get hydrated even if you don't catch him. Put out something that smells like him and something that smells like you so he can catch the scent. Switch it out for new items every few days. I hope you find him soon!

I'm sorry kitty is missing. The number one piece of advice is to actively work to bring your cat home. Don't just wait for them to show up. Hang fliers--they work. Notify the microchip company that he is missing. Visit local animal controls in person. Notify local veterinarians. Post to the Next Door app for area lost. If kitty is normally indoors only he is likely very close to home. Sit quietly outside at night w a flashlight and look for shining eyes. Put out stinky mackerel or canned pink salmon.
