Lauren Boston the lady from my work said everyone in the neighborhood had seen him & it’s not anyone’s. She said the same that there isn’t anywhere else around. He could have traveled along way. I think they can go miles & miles from where the live in just one day.

Yes that is the neighborhood I saw it in. It is kinda out there not around much else so I am not sure where else it would have come from! Hopefully it’s someone in the neighborhoods and they claim it. Glad to hear the dog is still in the area!

Susan Duke I agree! I went out there after work yesterday and no sign of the pup. I hope that he is doing alright and maybe someone had better luck at getting the dog to come. I stood outside in the rain for like 20 minutes. Tried calling it nicely and asking if he wanted a treat. Tried opening my door asking if he wanted to go for a ride. Finally I tried to call it more firmly. This seemed to get the best reaction rather than the blank stare I was getting. However it started howling at me and I was worried the dog may not be too friendly towards humans if I were to get it to come. Probably head back out there tomorrow and see if I have any more luck

Lauren, this breaks my heart, and I have a special place for GSD’s. I live in WR and want to drive out there after my kids are asleep tonight to try & get him using food. If not, will leave for him and try again tomorrow. It’s very upsetting that he’s injured & in pain. I’m not sure what’s up with the broken leash, but my mind goes to the worst. Poor innocent has no real hope of surviving if not rescued.

A lady at my work said this dog was on her porch this morning. She is scared of big dogs. She lives in the Griffins Crossing area. The dog has been around neighborhood in between her house & her neighbors for the past couple of days. Please share this post to all the other animal sites.
