Female cat just had kittens in my neighbor's drive way a few weeks ago. Saw them a few days ago but havent seen them in a few days. Mom doesnt seem feral but nervous. She smelled my hand and walked away but comes for food and naps.

Dear neighbor thank you for feeding mom (and kittens) . Please know that cats slice their tongues from the can EDGES and friskies can edges are especially SHARP - kindly place food on a plate , bowl or piece of cardboard - anything but the can...sending this message with only love in my heart. I have rescued cats with severely lacerated tongues from cans. The kittens are likely hiding. I pray you will continue to provide food and water and try to win over the mom and kittens - consider fostering mom and kittens in your bathroom where it's contained and safe. mom will get pregant again soon if not fixed...If kitty isn't fixed …. the biggest gift you could give to this young mom❤️ 🙏 to prevent endless kittens being born outside to suffer and struggle is to get her fixed once her kittens are eating on their own .
