He's currently safe in a foster home, but we want to be sure that he isn't a lost kitty. Approximately 3 months old or so. He's very friendly, and loves to be held and sit on laps. If someone is missing this sweet baby, let's get him back home!

Thank you for helping this sweet kitty! Here are some tips to help you find the owner: - If there’s a neighborhood Facebook page where the kitty was found, post on there right away to reach the people who live in that area. - Put up FOUND CAT flyers all around the neighborhood or area where he was found with his picture and your contact info. The parking lot at Pet Supplies plus (as well as adjacent parking lots for other stores near there) would be a great place to put up flyers since you found this baby near there. He may have escaped from a vehicle while his owner was inside shopping. - If there are adjacent neighborhoods close to where it was found, put flyers in those areas as well, because pets are not always aware of boundaries between neighborhoods and may accidentally wander from one to another, unaware that they’re getting further and further away from home. - Email a copy of your flyer to Animal Control to hang in their lobby in case the owner goes there looking for their missing kitty. - Take the kitty to be scanned for a microchip. Any Veterinarian will do it for free, and could help to track down the owner. - If someone does come forward claiming to be the owner, please get absolute proof of ownership, as some people will claim to own pets that are not actually theirs, sometimes for nefarious purposes, and innocent pets could end up as Bait in dog fighting rings.
