Andrea Sweet-Gunsolus thank you Andrea! He’s actually not a Scottish fold, he just looks like it. He was a Tom cat for many years prior to me taking him in. He had surgery on his ear and they just look like that from all the cat fights. I’m hoping he will come home or someone finds him. Thank you again for sharing your tips!

Carlie Shaheen thank you for the tips! I did that last night-walked the whole neighborhood. Will be putting up posters today. I will try the other things you said. He can actually get into the house as I have a doggy door. He was sadly not just an indoor cat. He was my neighbors and they moved and left him. He started coming in on his own. I got him fixed and he even had surgery on his ear. He’s not a Scottish fold, even though he looks like one. It’s due to him being a tom cat and getting into fights, previous to me taking him in. He would only go outside occasionally and would stay near the house ever since I got him fixed about 2 yrs ago. Thank you again for the suggestions. I’m so glad you found your kitty! I will keep trying. Also posted it on Petcos website and looked through the Henderson found pet photos. I’m hopefully he will find him.

Walk up and down your neighborhood while shaking your favorite bag of food or treats or whatever brings your kitty running to you at all times of morning , day and night. You may also want to consider using one of those toy laser lights at night to bring your cat out of hiding. Knock on neighbor’s doors and give them a good contact number in case they see him. Very important in case they are stuck in a garage or shed or God forbid even hurt. Not everyone will see your fliers and post. If you have a garage or front door, leave it cracked open just enough for kitty and leave bedding or clothing that has your scent, also leave food and water, but be aware of predators. Remember in most cases, he will be close by, so don’t give up and keep looking. You may want to consider borrowing or buying a humane trap. Be persistent and consistent and most importantly, Don’t Stop Looking! Not all cats will just show up at your door. It took us over a month to get our kitty home with the help of neighbors. God Bless you and your fur babies. Be aware of scammers. They ask for number codes and money.

Scottish fold ears are not that Common
