This little girl isn't thin (young, but not too skinny) but is very happy to eat what I put out for her. I was hoping she was new to the area and was exploring, but she seems to be returning regularly. Maybe she was dropped off? This first pic was yesterday when she spotted my cat in the window, so her back is up a bit. She returned this morning and seemed untroubled, but hungry

For her finders: Hopefully this sweet kitty just came to say hello and has a loving forever home to go back to soon! Some potentially helpful tips (this is a prefab note so apologies to include things you may have tried/have been mentioned already/may not be feasible): If you think they seem healthy to leave be for a bit and you can get them to trust you enough to do so, you could try the paper collar thing to note on and see if they have a human they're going to. If they frequent your place seemingly not going back home/you can catch them, you can consider the following: 1. Have them scanned for a chip whether someone with a chip scanner can come by to try it or take them by any vet or WHS for the chip scan. 2. If needed, you could contact a local rescue such as Whatcom Feline Alliance, Main Street Mutt and Meow Rescue, Baker Furry Friends Rescue or Alternative Humane Society for advice. WHS and no shelters have all been very full as far as I'm aware 😞💔. 3. If feasible and you can at least make a safe spot for them, hopefully their owners are found soon or someone can take them in until then if needed. Be cautious if you have a litter box or food out as it can attract predators. And use caution with any type of fabric out in the cold kitty might be able to get wet as it can freeze. Generally straw (not hay) is best for warmth and safety. 4. Better yet if able to find a loving forever home if they don't have one. Thank you for caring ❤️.
