Message from Owner

We lost our beloved kitty named Cristo, yesterday morning around 3-4am in Tanglewood North. He is 15 years old and walks with a limp due to age related arthritis. Please help us find him and bring him home!

Kim Marie so sorry to hear that. Let’s hope your camera catches him. The live trap is useful if he does come around your property

Nayak Sam I've posted both on Nextdoor as others have as well and first thing I did was post on Ring. No sign of him. 😢

LunaMoon Guerrero Thank you. My husband is home doing all he can with no luck. I'm still out of state but coming home tomorrow. Praying Cristo returns to us but it is looking bleak. 😢 Still hanging onto hope we find him.

Kim Marie wasn’t judging you just trying to let you know about the coyote situation… but to be honest when I relooked at the picture it does look like he’s outside on a patio due to the concrete pavers. Praying you get your boy back.

Kevin Maclary Thank you so much. I'm relaying your advice to my husband who has been frantically searching for our kitty since yesterday morning. I am in another state and feel completely helpless other than what I'm doing to get word out in social media. I'm happy some people are helpful and compassionate and not assuming I didn't keep my kitty indoors. Unfortunately when I'm away I can't care for my pets but rely on my husband and boys. They are very sad this happened, it is just horrible heartache.

JoAnne Johnson Wny do people assume my cat was an outdoor cat? He's indoors and enjoys sunshine in the patio during the day and we bring him inside at night. He got out our screen door early in the morning while my husband was asleep. We have no ac so the screen door was shut. Our precious boy never wanders so we think he must've been sick and went off to die as some cats do. I am heartbroken and wish people wouldn't jump to conclusions. I paid $55 for help, not for accusations and criticism about how we care for our beloved pets. These things happen and I'm hurting.

Marty Kane My cat is indoors, but I'm away in another state bringing my mother with dementia to stay with my sister. Cristo got out early in the morning through our screen, something he's never done before, while my husband was sleeping. I do wish people would not assume my poor kitty was not kept indoors at night. We live in townhouses with our patios sandwiched between two other townhouses with tall fences. He has never gone over the fence before. I'm devastated and just hope people will be kinder not to blame, sadly these things happen . I just want my beloved kitty back, whom I've kept safe for 15 years.

Time is of the essence. Cats don’t go far from home. Don’t wait for social media to bring your cat home, you need to be proactive. Leave the door/window the kitty exited from open 24/7. If unable, then crack garage door open 24/7 enough to get in. Hang worn clothes and/or your pillow case in a tree or on top of shrubs to create a scent trail. Knock on neighbors doors with a picture asking them to keep an eye out. See if they can check Ring cameras for any sighting. Post signs with kitty’s picture as many as possible, include surrounding neighborhoods. Go out late at night with a flashlight, shaking a bag of food, calling kitty’s name, looking under shrubs for their shining eyes. Post on Ring, Nextdoor and check shelters. Don’t give up. 💕

If you get him back please try to make him an inside cat. There are way to many coyotes out at all times of the day and night.
