Message from Owner

🚨 LAS VEGAS — PLEASE HELP US FIND THE FAMILY WHO ADOPTED OUR DOG ❤️🐾 You may know him as Thor, but to us he’s Doughboy. He was my emotional support dog during one of the hardest times in my life. He was born February 17, 2024, and he was truly my little shadow. Shortly after moving to Las Vegas, he somehow slipped away. I searched everywhere. I checked every shelter page, called around, and posted everywhere I could. Eventually I learned he had been picked up and taken to The Animal Foundation. By the time I called, they told me he had already been adopted the day before. They said they tried contacting the owner listed on the microchip, but when I had attempted to update it before, something must have gone wrong because it still had the previous owner’s name and his old name on it. Animal ID: A1396413 Found: October 27, 2025 Shelter: The Animal Foundation (Las Vegas) We have tried to accept that he has a new family now, and we truly hope he is loved and happy. We are NOT trying to take him back. But the truth is… we still talk about him all the time. My kids still ask about him, and I still find myself watching videos of him with tears in my eyes. We even emailed the shelter asking if they could simply forward our message to the adopter so they could contact us if they were open to it. We completely understood they couldn’t share personal information. Unfortunately, they denied that request. So reaching out like this is honestly our only hope. If you adopted a dog named Thor around late October 2025 from The Animal Foundation, or know someone who did, please reach out. We would just love the chance to see him one last time and say a proper goodbye so our family can finally have closure. From one dog lover to another… it would mean the world to us. ❤️ Please share — you never know who might recognize him

Please keep sharing if you can. ❤️ Doughboy (Thor) was my emotional support dog and losing him has been incredibly hard on our family. We searched everywhere for him, and by the time we found out he was at the shelter, he had already been adopted the day before. We are not trying to take him back. We truly hope he has a loving family and a happy life. We would just be so grateful for the chance to see him one last time and say goodbye so our family can have some closure. If you adopted him, or know someone who adopted a dog named Thor from The Animal Foundation around late October 2025, please reach out. Even if the answer is no, I would still be so grateful if you could find a way to let me know. I’ve been desperately refreshing my Facebook app constantly hoping to hear something. Thank you all so much for the support, kindness, and shares. It truly means more than you know. 🐾
