Thank you so much for keeping an eye on this adorable found black smoke Maine Coon or Norwegian Forest Cat. Does he or she appear hungry or frightened? Would it be possible for someone to get close enough to scan kitty for a chip (you may find a neighborhood volunteer on Nextdoor who will come to you with a portable scanner)? Have you searched this page and others in the area for “Orlando" or"32803" or "smoke" or "Coon" or "Forest“ — keywords that may have been used to describe the cat in a lost post -- to find a match? If not chipped and you can confirm gender, I'll help by searching elsewhere and let you know what I find. Please share on other local lost and found pages, if possible, as well as Nextdoor and ask anyone claiming kitty for veterinary records to prove guardianship (there’ve been multiple reports of people trying to claim found cats to use as dog fighting bait). If you need help getting it scanned for a microchip, I have a chip reader and am about 7-10 min away. I'd be happy to swing by and scan it for a microchip
