Orange/blonde longhaired cat with yellow eyes. Has collar but no tag. No microchip.

This sweet boy (assuming cause hes orange) has been coming to my yard for food the past couple of weeks. Very skittish but finally got him to trust me enough to pet him and bring him in to check for a microchip (they didnt find one). I'm sure his fur is normally very y but right now its all matted down his sides which makes me believe he is a missing cat instead of an outdoor cat. Very sweet and loving cat but he is so scared and shouldn't be on the streets. I'd bring him inside but I have cats of my own and don't have a good way of keeping them separated :( I really hope I can find his guardian!

Sherrie HyrkasI have been feeding this guy every day since hes been coming around. I have water out, too. I took him in to get him to a vet to get scanned for a chip. The person at the clinic said its difficult to get Animal Control to take a cat that has a collar and they assume its an outdoor cat. Animal Control and Humane Societies also have month long waiting lists when I've called in the past for other cats.
