You need to take to the shelter so it can be scanned for a microchip and if the owner registered the microchip with the chip company they can try and contact and hopefully the phone number is a valid number If you have animals you would want somebody to do that for years I would hope

It’s appreciated that people give pets a proper burial but also very important to take all measures to find the owner, especially microchip scanning before it is in the ground, too many horror stories of owned pets being buried by finder

Thanks for caring. Pls have chip scan We lost a dog before And back then we didn’t know anything about these groups/ A lot of people don’t have social media. Especially older people, or people that don’t do social media. That’ll help family gets closure, stop looking. ❤️🙏
