Description

Echo is a 6-month-old female black cat with a slim, youthful build and short, solid black fur. She has large, almond-shaped eyes and a slightly delicate face. She is still young, so she may appear small for her age. Echo is not spayed and may be in heat, which could cause her to wander farther than usual. She may be shy or scared and is likely hiding in quiet, enclosed spaces such as under porches, bushes, or sheds.

Message from Owner

Please help me find my baby, Echo 🖤 She’s only 6 months old and this was the first time she went into heat, so she ran out unexpectedly without me realizing. She has a thin, long body, solid black fur, and big almond-shaped eyes. She’s still just a baby, and I’m really worried about her being out there alone and scared. Because of this, she may have wandered farther than usual or may be near other cats. She’s likely hiding somewhere quiet like under porches, bushes, or in grges. If you’ve seen her or think you might have, please don’t ignore it—even the smallest sighting could help bring her . I just want her safe again.

rent or borrow a humane trap. The SPCA should be able to help. Place the trap near where the cat escaped. Put some of the cat's favorite food and treats inside of the trap along with an article of your clothing with your scent on it. This method worked for me on two different occasions. If you trap the wrong cat or some other animal, put a blanket over the trap leaving the door exposed. Stand behind the trap and release the animal. Reset the trap. Time is of the essence so do this asap. Good luck and God bless.

Lost house cats usually do not go far. Look in,under, on top of all structures/trees in the near vicinity. Have a flashlight with you as his/her eyes will reflect in the dark. If you do see him/her, no sudden movements. Have some treats or his/her food with you. Also, if you can leave a door or window slightly open, he/she may come back in their own. Keep an ear to the outside after dark. Many kitties come back after dark and meow to be let back in. Leave a piece of clothing with your scent near the open space that is helpful.Have neighbors look in garages, sheds and other structures. Also if you did not see him/her get out or know for sure she/he did, check every inch of your house, she/he could be trapped or hiding somewhere. Good Luck!!
