Stacey Weeks, Keep checking animal shelters and animal control too. People tend to catch and call animal control so they can be checked and be placed up for adoption at local shelters. I was really hoping the kitty I referred you to would be a match. The poor baby that you visited is likely scared and in shock.

Deborah Okopski thank you so much!! Unfortunately we live in an apartment with no garage but we’ve left the 2 outside storage closets open with his bed and food and our clothes and litter box. Fliers all around nearby neighborhoods and everything but we will continue to do everything we can to bring him home 💕

Stacey Weeks, I was hoping it was. Cats can go feral very quickly, especially if chased by an animal, etc. Their survival instincts kick in and they go into hiding. I would suggest leaving you garage door open just enough for you cat to get in and leave his "dirty" litter box near the opening if you still have an uncleaned one. Futher inside the garage, leave some food and water along with a box with something you've worn. Most strays are hiding within 2 blocks of their home if someone hasn't taken them. Print pictures of your cat and date he went missing along with your contact info and house number. Talk about how much he's loved and missed. Offer a reward. Put the flyers in mailboxes on your street and one street over. You can also put a flyer in a sealed plastic and put near the street in your yard and on utility posts. Best wishes in finding your buddy. He's likely nearby. Leave "breadcrumbs" of his favorite treats leading to your garage. I hope he comes home soon.

Sabrina Montrose thank you so much for keeping an eye out also!! We went crazy putting up fliers around the area but yellow box didn’t allow one posted there oddly enough!
