Please make sure to call all the shelters in mediately all the Humane Society's. I learned from Lafayette Humane Society that the way it goes when a pet is brought in by so when you found the pet and doesn't know the owners... Is that the check for microchip, check all the websites for people who have posted about lost animals.... and then they hold the animal/ possible furfamily member for five days and then they spay or neuter them if they are not already come and give them a vet exam ... ...and then put them up for adoption! After five days. So please call oh around all the shelters. I know there's a boulder Humane Society you can call Longmont Humane Society. Look up all the Humane Society's. Look up all the shelters. And please call them all as soon as possible. I'm praying for this sweet fancy (paws crossed while drinking water) furfamily member to be reunited with you asap🙏🏼🐾🌸🙌🏼

Pls post cross streets. Get out calling Kitty's name especially early and late when it's quiet. Search high and low with a flashlight. Put up posters with number large. Enough to be seen while driving. And post on nextdoor. Com

Please go out at night after traffic noise has down, shine flash light under bushes and things cat can hide under and also in trees. Check out any green spots looking back at you. Call cat and wait for a meow back. CRITICAL INCASE CAT IS TRAPPED SOMEWHERE; start from where cat went missing and workout for a radius of 2 miles, knock on doors and ask in person if they will check sheds, garages, window wells, and other outside buildings for cat. ALSO, put cats bed or an old pair of your tennis shoes to help cat know where your porch is. NOT, a litter box that will attract other animals that may keep your cat away. Scared cats usually don't travel far from where they go missing and will wait for YOU to come find them. Also stop by local shelters and rescues everyother day to see if cat has been. turned in. GOOD LUCK

I'm so sorry that Kootie is missing. Often they haven't gone far from the point of last seen so check with ALL of your neighbors!! If they are an indoor cat they are likely hiding nearby. Research shows that most cats are found within a 6 block radius of the point of last seen. Please ask your neighbors to check their sheds, garages, window wells, under porches, etc. anywhere they may have inadvertently been trapped. It's possible someone took them in thinking that they were a stray. Consider putting missing flyers in your neighborhood. Also check online at the found cats at the shelters near you. Check daily because they are only on a stray hold for a short time before they can be adopted by others. Look for them and call for them after it gets dark (around 8:30pm currently) and around dawn (around 5:30am currently) as that's when they move about. I've heard that they try to return the same way they left so if you can leave a garage door, window, etc. open. If they are microchipped, make sure that your contact information connected to their chip registration is correct! There are mixed opinions on putting out their litterbox. Put out a piece of your clothing and one of their blankets. I've seen scammers replying to lost pet posts saying that they have found the lost pet. If you have to respond by messenger it is a scam. Praying that Kootie is home soon ❤️🙏 Here's a helpful resource: https://youtu.be/g2eCoC63B9I?si=nfyOzi00hC5SNFV
