Our beloved dog, Winter, went missing. He/She is a white Maltipoo. 📍 Last Seen / Suspected Area: Along the route from Cabrillo Middle School to Central Park Library in Santa Clara. 💡 Important Update: We suspect that Winter might have been picked up and temporarily adopted/sheltered by a kind-hearted person who thought he/she was a stray. If you or someone you know recently found a white Maltipoo in this area, or if you have seen a similar dog at a neighbor's house or a local shelter, please, please reach out to us. Post to NextDoor Check shelter website 24petconnect.com City of San Jose Animal Care & Services AND Silicon Valley Animal Control Authority Put up flyers - Creating a dog scent station from a rescue who helps reunite pets. Take an unwashed article of THE OWNERS clothing.( Socks , Sheet, Underware & Hang it in a tree ,on a fence , a pole or edge of roof & put an article of unwashed clothes on ground below. The wind will carry the scent. If there is another dog in the home take that dog's fresh poop and rub it on a rag & hang it high . Open your gates. Your garage door , turn on all your lights. Put a rug or towel on porch with a bowl of water. Do not put the dog's bed or the dog's toys outside. The only scent we want is from the owners. Please do this ASAP. Rain or Shine.A dog can find its way back from miles by following a scent. They don't operate like humans on sight or sound. Also saturate the area with bright flyers.& file a lost report with your local shelters and check those in person in case your dog is there.
