British shorthair gray cat, not neutered, very skittish

This cat showed up on our road recently, we’ve seen in on our ring camera a couple of times. I followed him and tried to give him some treats, but he’s very skittish and runs away. I could see he’s not neutered and he looks like he’s lost a lot of weight recently. He seems to be a British shorthair, all grey, not a tabby. We’re keeping an eye out but by the time we open the front door he’s already gone.
