Make an online report lost.petcolove.org which post to the PACC website using facial recognition. Make an online report with the Humane Society. Check out the PACC website under cats that have been found. Go to PACC in person every day to check.

Put up flyers in a very large area around where he was last seen. Make a scent trail by putting his bed and some of your old clothes and shoes outside.

FOR INDOOR CATS: Between the hours of 11pm-2am walk around your block calling his name and shaking his favorite treat bag. Make sure to take a carrier with you as he will be scared. Contact homes around your block that have SHEDS or GARAGES. Kitties will seek dark places to hide and could get locked in. It’s warmer now, and neighbors may not open their shed/garage daily/weekly trapping kitty with no food or water.

Is he Microchipped? If so notify the company that he is missing and make sure your contact info is up to date. Blanket your neighborhood with big bright flyers and ask people to search garages and sheds and parked vehicles like RV'S and other places where he could have gotten trapped inside. Search with a flashlight to reflect eyes and a treat bag to shake and pop top cans of smelly food to pop open now and then. If he is not used to being outside then he is probably hunkered down hiding somewhere close by. Post on other places like Nextdoor and Craigslist and pawboost and lost petcolove org and Facebook lost and found pages but be aware of scammers targeting lost and found pages never give money up front to anyone who says they have your cat or can find him and never agree to meet anyone alone. Borrow a humane trap from a shelter like Hermitage or Pacc and set it up baited outside the exit where he escaped. Keep searching and spreading the word.
