Thank you so much for posting and caring. It's really hard to tell if a cat has eaten in several days or a week with fur - I've rescued multiple cats everyone thought looked ok only to find them to be thin and malnourished . I hope you will provide him food and water and talk to neighbors to see if anyone knows if he has a guardian or if he is a stray (likely abandoned - there are so many )....Sweet boy is not fixed which means he will get into terrible fights re: mating and territory that are often lethal due to infectious bite wounds. Would you consider helping to get this cat fixed so he can stay healthy and live a long life and prevent kittens being born outside who struggle to survive... If he's friendly you can get him coming to food daily then the night before his appt you can get him inside (in a carrier ) and keep him in your bathroom. remove food at midnight and bring him to get fixed. Keep him overnight 1 night in your bathroom for recovery. All you need is a litter box food and water and a carrier with a towel inside and a towel or blanket on top of it left open so he ends up hiding and sleeping in there.
