Message from Owner

We are missing our baby, Sabrina. She has a wild spirit and this is not the first time she has slipped out. Our neighbors have spotted her but she hasn't been attracted to our kitty trap with very smelly cat fish food. Thank you SO MUCH with any help you give us!

I’m sorry she’s missing. Cats usually stay hiding scared near by, if is possible leave an open access to you house, she could try to get back the same way she left, set a smell station. If you see her don’t chase her, instead try to lure her towards you. Print some posters with her picture , and put them around your neighborhood, so if someone see her can call you right away, talk to your neighbors make them aware she is missing, cats sometimes cats get stuck under decks or other house’s structures. If she is microchipped be sure the information is updated. File a missing report with animal controls and visit your local shelter. I Hope you find her soon 🙏🏼 . Leave an open access like an attached garage cracked about 8 inches 24/7. If the cat is left alone they will attempt to get back in when it’s dark, especially early am.

When it gets dark keep lights outside low and sit down outside the door. Soft familiar calls. Walking around can keep them in hiding. She’s not far and will want to come back when she feels safe. Key is to lure and make her feel safe to come out of hiding.

If she’s been trapped before can be difficult often times to trap again in a conventional trap. Reach out on Nextdoor or social media for anyone that has a drop trap. Can also slowly feed outside the trap with trap tied open moving food closer and closer to the trap. Then right inside, then the middle, then the back. But will need a trail camera on it to monitor her behavior.
