Black miniature Schnauzer, 10-15 pounds, 5 months old, full body clip the last week of April. She is very friendly. We now believe that she was taken from or near our driveway on May 1st.

Lee Booher Yes... I didn't want you guys to have false hope. Keep checking the shelter websites, you never know. Carson shelter would be the most likely shelter that she would turn up at. If the pup is microchipped, be sure and have her owner report her as missing Post fliers at dogpark, pet stores and email local vets and groomers.

Although it's disappointing that we probably won't find Katie, at least we can rest assured that the dog in question is not Katie.

Lee Booher the dog in the photo is a male. See my other post to Sue on his background. Hope your friend finds her puppy... so sad. It's awful but there are a lot of dog thefts these days. Finding a dog and keeping him/her without looking for the owner is indeed stealing.
