Frank is absolutely beautiful. Since he is blind maybe he didn't go too far and may be hiding under something .. People in that area, PLEASE LOOK OUT FOR BLIND FRANK AROUND YOUR PROPERTIES!!! Shared from Mt Vernon.

I am so sorry. I have rescued 20 strays myself. they were taken to Friendship Animal Protective League. These strays were very easy and very friendly. I am so sorry your little one got out. I only have advice for homeowners. May God preserve the cats he sends through the universe and help us help them.

Rita Palmer yes he was a stray before a family friend took him in when he was half starved. Friend took him in but he’s not litter box trained so Frank was dropped at our barn. We had him in an enclosed part of our barn but he found his way out. Thank you

I would put his litter box outside, under cover, along with some really smelly cat food and some clothes you wore recently to attract him. Keep an eye on it. Some people say not to put the box/food out because it might attract predators. I have known it to work. Check carefully around the outside of your house and your neighbors’ houses. Cats don't usually go far initially and they can tuck themselves into unbelievably small and unusual spaces. One person found her cat hiding in the grill on her patio after searching for three days. Go out late at night when it's quiet and call her softly. Make large, easily read flyers and post them around your neighborhood with the cat’s picture and your contact info. Post a lost ad on nextdoor.com. Ask your neighbors to check garages, sheds, under decks - anywhere a cat can hide and get shut in. Borrow a trap from a shelter or vet. Don’t give up. Good luck!

Since he is blind, has he been outside before this incident? Look at the circumstances of that event. Then use smells. Blind cats see things by what they smell. Get a nice heated cat bin outside near your home and where you can see it. Put the cooked chicken and cat nip inside. Smells. His blanket should go inside too and another blanket near your front door. Open the back and or side doors a few inches, putting the chicken pieces smells inside, with a diash of cat nip. always look under and around . ask neighbors and give them your phone number. May God bless your baby and bring him home soon.
